Dr. Marco Berard is Canadian Board-Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and most recently served as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia and as the hospital’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit Medical Director. In addition, Dr. Berard was the sports medicine physician for the University of Virginia College football team. Dr. Berard completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery as Chief Resident at the University of Montreal in Montreal, Quebec. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Montreal. Dr. Berard is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and of the trauma team for Montreal Formula One races. “Running an orthopaedic practice in a small community enables me to lend a personal touch to the practice,” said Dr. Berard. “By building a strong foundation and relationships with community members, quality of care can be enhanced.” |
