Paying for Your Care
Even when you are healthy, financial issues can be stressful. Paying for health care can be complicated. We want to make it as simple as possible for you to manage the costs of services, understand the billing process, navigate the payment system, and prepare you in advance for your visit.
Billing & Insurance
Medical costs are often unanticipated and not all costs are covered by insurance. Because of this, we offer payment plans, and, in certain circumstances, financial assistance programs that can make your payments more manageable. Please read on to learn more about the insurance plans that Alice Hyde Medical Center participates in, as well as important information about Out-Of-Network Bills.
Should you have any questions regarding insurance or billing, call our Patient Financial Services Department at 518-481-2241.

Alice Hyde Medical Center wants to help you understand your bill and if your provider is in or out-of-network. As you saw above, Alice Hyde Medical Center participates in many health plans. Some health plans use smaller networks for certain products they offer so it is important to check whether we participate in the specific plan you are covered by.
It is also important for you to know that the physician services you receive in the hospital are not included in the hospital’s charges. Physicians who provide services at the hospital may be independent voluntary physicians or they may be employed by the hospital. Physicians bill for their services separately and may or may not participate in the same health plans as the hospital. You should check with the physician arranging your hospital services to determine which plans that physician participates in. Plan participation information for physicians employed by Alice Hyde Medical Center is the same as listed above.
You should also check with the physician arranging for your hospital services to determine whether the services of any other physicians will be required for your care. Your physician can provide you with the name, practice name, mailing address and telephone number of any physciains whose services may be needed. Your physician will also be able to tell you whether the services of any physciains employed or contracted by Alice Hyde are likely to be needed. Contact information for these physicians can be found on the "Find A Doctor" page.
Alice Hyde Medical Center contracts with a number of physician groups, such as anesthesiologists, radiologists and pathologists, to provide services at the hospital. You should contact these groups directly to find out which health plans they participate in, including:
