FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER FULLTIME

Description:

LPN VARIOUS (NURSING HOME)

Description:


There are various assignments available for Licensed Practical Nurses in the Nursing Home including:
 

Shifts and assignments may vary per resident care needs and operational staffing needs of the Nursing Home. Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Must be BLS certified. . 
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work in a team environment will be necessary. 
• Focus on customer service and patient satisfaction is of the utmost importance.  

Licensed Practical Nurse must be able to administer medication including I.V.s as part of the normal duties and responsibilities of the required shift.
 

 

 

 

PHYSICAL THERAPIST FULL-TIME

Description:

Position is 40 hours per week, part time Department Of Corrections and part-time on campus SNF, acute care or outpatient varying with departmental needs.  Rotating weekend coverage required.  Hours may vary according to the needs of the department. Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Must be licensed to practice in New York State.
• Must have the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast paced Physical Therapy setting essential
• Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred

 

 

REGISTERED NURSE IN NURSING ADMINISTRATION

Description:

 

Float PT 7:00 pm - 7:30 am
PT 7:00 am - 7:30 pm


hours subject to change per operational needs of the Nursing Department.  Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Must be BLS certified – eligible for or be ACLS and PALS certified.
• Must complete Trauma Nursing Core course within 6 months.
• Must have at least two (2) years experience Medical/Surgical Nursing.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player are necessary. 
• Critical Care experience preferred (ICU and/or ER)

 

 

REGISTERED NURSE IN THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT.

Description:


PD Hours Vary
PT 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm and 11:00 am – 11:30 pm. 
 

Assignment may vary per operational needs of the Emergency Room and the Nursing Department.  Based on operational need, this position may be required to float to others areas of the facility at the discretion of supervisory staff.  Continued competency and training in other areas will be required.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• BLS, ACLS and PALS Required 
• Minimum two (2) years experience in Medical-Surgical Units. 
• One (1) year Emergency Room experience preferred.
• TNCC preferred, or obtained within 6 months of employment
• Willing to work towards Emergency Nurse Certification within 3 years
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the public is a must.

 

 

REGISTERED NURSE IN THE ICU

Description:


FT 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
PT 3:00 pm-11:30pm and 11:00 pm – 7:30 am

Shift and assignments may vary per operational needs of patient care and the Nursing Department.  Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Applicants must have successfully completed Critical care training, BLS and ACLS certified, and be eligible for PALS training. 
• 3 years ICU experience required, 5 years preferred. 
• Charge nurse experience preferred. 
• Position requires flexibility and availability for transferring patients to other health care facilities as needed. 
• Will be required to float to other units and may be placed on-call per operational needs. 

 

 

 

REGISTERED NURSE ON THE MATERNITY UNIT

Description:


PT 11:00 pm - 7:30 am


shift and assignment may vary per operational needs of patient care and the Nursing Unit. Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• BLS Certified.
• Previous OB experience required, ie Labor Delivery, Nursery & Post Partum. 
• NRP certification preferred. 
• Good interpersonal skills a must

 

 

REGISTERED NURSE ON THE MEDICAL SURGICAL UNIT

Description:

Part-time 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Part-time 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Part-time 7:00 am - 7:30 pm
Per-diem 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

shift and assignment may vary per operational needs of patient care and the Nursing Department. Applicants are responsible for relief of full-time staff during holidays, sick time and vacation time.  Low census unit may be required to float to other departments as needed. Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
 
• Must be BLS certified.
• 1 year experience in Medical/Surgical Unit preferred. 
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work in a team environment will be necessary.
